Lionel Messi could  be out of Copa de Rey semi-finals against Real Madrid due to thigh injury.Barcelona is extremely worried that their start player will not be able to compete in the all-important 'El-Classico'.
Messi will undergo a lot of fitness test before Copa de Rey clash against their arch-rivals.The Argentine had picked up a thigh injury during Barcelona’s match against Valencia.

According to some reports 31-year-old Messi was struggling with the injury on Monday and did not take part in training.

Barcelona would definitely want Messi to be in the squad after the prolific season he has been having. Messi recently became the first player in Europe's top five leagues to reach the 20-goal mark in league football this season. He has scored 29 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for the Blaugrana in 2018/19.
